Loop Bacolod is a directory built to make it easier to find the creative people, places, and events that make Metro Bacolod what it is. It’s also a place for those people and places to be found.
We’re focused on the people who create, the places that support them, and the events that bring the community together.
Why we started
Finding out what’s happening in Metro Bacolod’s creative scene shouldn’t depend on who you know or which Facebook group you happen to be in. A lot of the time, you have to dig through social media, group chats, and different pages just to find out what’s happening.
We kept seeing talented local musicians, artists, photographers, writers, performers, and other creatives who were hard to find online. There were also cafés, galleries, studios, shops, and venues that were part of the creative community but mostly known through word of mouth. And plenty of events never reached much beyond the people who were already in the know.
Bacolod has no shortage of creative talent, supportive spaces, or things happening. What was missing was a simple place where you could find them.
That’s what Loop Bacolod is for. A local directory where you can discover the people, places, and events that make up Metro Bacolod’s creative community.
What you’ll find here
Creatives — Musicians and bands, photographers, filmmakers, writers, dancers, performers, craftspeople, and other creative talent working across Metro Bacolod. Profiles can include portfolio images and, for bands and groups, the people behind them.
Locales — Creative spaces and local businesses that are part of Metro Bacolod’s creative community or actively support it. This includes cafés, galleries, studios, shops, theatres, bars, venues, and other spaces where creatives can work, perform, exhibit, sell, collaborate, or connect. Listings include useful details like location, amenities, and contact information.
Events — Find out what’s happening around Metro Bacolod, from gigs and exhibitions to workshops, markets, festivals, pop-ups, and other local events.
Community Media — Stories, ideas, and insights about Metro Bacolod’s creative community, written by people from the community.
Listings are submitted by the community and reviewed before they go live. Visitors can also leave ratings and reviews on Creatives and Locales, helping keep the directory useful and up to date.
